Linda
Potter, teacher, sociologist, mom & Nana; Linda has been teaching and potting for years. She enjoys mixed-level classes because she believes everyone brings something to the table: different skills, different eyes, different questions, and something worth contributing.

Sam
Sam is not a teacher, nor is she a tech. But she’ll send you emails (if you opt in), is much happier talking face to face, and is always ready to wax poetic about the seasons of clay, glaze alchemy, or whatever she’s most recently decided everyone else should find fascinating too.

Brian
Arun is a graduate from the University of Southern Maine with a degree in Art and Entrepreneurship and a concentration in ceramics. His work centers around the human body and queer representation.

Bri
Brian came to Maine by way of Chicago with 20 years in ceramics and sculpture and a seemingly endless supply of hidden knowledge and secret techniques. Ever generous, the more you ask, the more he tells.

Bri is a clay explorer focusing on handbuilt pieces that spark a playful story.
Studio Technician
Brooks studies ceramics at Maine College of Art and Design. They focus on glaze chemistry and kiln operations. Drawn to angular and earthy tones, Brooks takes inspiration from architecture and geologic forms.

Catalina
Catalina approaches clay as a medium for community building and emotional grounding. With a focus on drinking vessels, utilitarian pieces, and matcha bowls, she is an Instructor for beginner wheel classes.

José is artist and educator in the Portland area. His teaching focuses heavily on sculpture and ceramics, while his artistic practice explores the intersectionality of pottery, sculpture, and surface design.

Leyli
Leyli is a graduate of College of the Atlantic. She makes ceramic sculptures that mull on erosion, accumulation, and energy phenomena, while exploring her relationship to objects and mind.

Lizzy is a handbuilding ceramicist who loves creating functional, expressive forms. She graduated from College of the Atlantic with a focus in Fine Arts. She is passionate about helping students explore their own creative voice through clay.
Suza
Studio Technician
Suza is a local organic farmer and student of philosophy and art history at the University of Southern Maine. They are a great lover of delicious food, thinking too much, and good/bad things. Their functional pottery works to reflect that love.
Lilah
Lilah studies Ceramics at Maine College of Art and Design. Her (mostly) functional work is vivid and playful, inspired by toys and colorful observations.

Instructor
Olivia loves to trim, makes an excellent bowl, and has a penchant for tiny forms. Though that’s never stopped her from making large-scale crocks and bowls. Technically excellent in all she does, and if she isn’t, she can tell you exactly why.
